ABOUT
POW!POW!POW!POW! encourages and supports performance artists to do whatever they want…Unlike other funded festivals, POW! is a grassroots open-ended festival run by artists and for artists. POW! believes in radical and FREE expression and experimentation with no particular aesthetic, moral, political or social limitations. Since we are not funded, there are “no strings attached.”

HISTORY
The first POW! mini-performance art festival premiered in spring 2008 and was a huge success, earning significant press and media attention. A year later POW! POW! returned, selling out each night to an audience that had more than tripled. The 2010 version was yet another success featuring 4 nights of global artists, irreverent expression and edgy experimentation. Quadruple POW! promises to be beyond provocative and above all expectations.

Special thanks to Alyssa Lee, Guillermo Gomez Peña, & AJ Kiyoizumi for their support and dedication to POW!
